Overview

There are many web applications and programs that allow a user to be logged onto his/her multiple accounts in one easy package. So why look for another one of these? Well, if you are limited to a browser most of the time, Digsby may not interest you. However, if you use an application like trillian, you may very well be interested.

Digsby is a multiprotocol instant messaging application, allowing AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk, ICQ, Jabber, and Facebook chat. Not only does it have messenger features, you can also get alerts from your email and social networking sites such as Myspace, Facebook, and Twitter.

You can get your most common email accounts into Digsby. Digsby supports Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, POP Email, IMAP Email, and AOL/Aim Mail. If you have 2 email accounts from the same provider, digsby will automatically log out of the currently logged on email account so that you can check your other email account.

Digsby is also customizable, you can get different themes, skins, and widgets for your buddylist, conversation window, and etc. Status updates on your buddies and other notifications are also instant and your account information is synchronized on Digsby’s servers so your account information will be set even if you move to another computer.

Digsby supports Windows, Mac, and Linux Operating systems so that everyone can have a taste of Digsby.
