Installing new applications like<span class="l"> IconWorkshop™ can be a real pain and not always so easy. Luckily if you are a Photoshop user there is a simple file extension which allows you to open up .ico files in Photoshop and save them as well! This tool is really great and it&#8217;s what I used to make my own favicon.ico. </span></p>
<p>Installation is really quick and simple, all you have to do is download the zip file or dmg file, depending if your on a mac or pc, and then extract the files inside the archive into the following folder:</p>
<p>C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Plug-Ins\File Formats</p>
<p>That&#8217;s it! Restart Photoshop and you should be on your way to creating icons!</p>
