You probably read the post before this about creating your favicon.ico in Photoshop, but for those who don’t have Photoshop or don’t really feel like installing the addon, there’s an even easier way to create your favicon.ico. All you have to do is visit the website favicon.cc and your set. This website allows you to do everything you want with your favicon.ico on the web and download it! While trying out the new browser from Google, I was wondering if it could ever convince me of switching from Firefox. But after a few hours of trying it out, I found the reason why I will not be switching anytime soon from my precious Firefox. I knew Google Chrome had some new technology so that each tab had it’s own process but when I hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete I found myself with 7 processes running when I only had 5 tabs opened! Now explain that to me. Doesn’t make sense to me. Look at the picture below, when you add those up you get around 172mb, now that’s what I call a resource hog.  

Now I ask myself, does this convince you to keep using Firefox or is it because of the amazing addons? Comment your story.

XSPF Web Music Player is a flash-based web application that uses xspf playlist format to play mp3 songs. XSPF is the XML Shareable Playlist Format. The software is written in Actionscript 2.

parameters:
playlist_url : the url of the xspf file to load
autoplay : boolean value that make the music start without the initial user click
autoload : boolean value that make the playlist load without the initial user click
repeat_playlist : boolean value that make the repeats the playlist after the end of the last song playlist_size : number of tracks to limit
player_title : the text to replace the players default’s
info_button_text : the text to display on the info link, see this page
radio_mode : boolean value, if true tells the player that the last track of playlist is in real a new playlist location. more info

The music player can also be used to play single mp3 files instead of playlists, the parameters are:
song_url : the url of the single mp3 you want to play
song_title : the text to replace the players default’s
If you want to use the button player, there is a test page to custom the button and generate the html code.
